All Souls Service 1 Nov
On the Sun nearest to All Soul’s Day, Sun 1 Nov 26, at 5pm there is a special service in St Peter’s to remember those who have died.  If you would like your loved ones’ name to be read out at this service, please add their name (before Thu 29 Oct) to the sheet at the back of St Peter’s, or email Lindsey at [email protected].

Future of Rural Churches Thu 12 Nov
See attached a poster detailing a presentation by the High Sheriff of Gloucestershire at the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester starting at 7pm.

Harvest Festival Foodbank Support
With Harvest Festival celebrations in Oct, the need for emergency food in our area still remains incredibly high. During the last year, North Cotswold Foodbank has provided 1794 emergency food parcels to people who can’t afford the essentials.

Things the Foodbank suggests are: long-life milk; tinned meat and fish; coffee/tea; tinned vegetables; tinned fruit; rice pudding; long life fruit juice; table sauces; jams and spreads.  Urgently needed: tinned potatoes; cooking sauces; sponge puddings.

St Peter’s Evening Services: Readers Required (1 of 3)
We could also do with more volunteers to read at the Evening services on the first and third Sundays at St Peter’s at 6.30pm (BST) or 5pm(GMT). If you are willing, please drop an email or speak to Lindsey Young in St Peter’s Centre ([email protected]) or Elizabeth Atkinson ([email protected]).

St Peter’s Welcomers Reinforcements (3 of 3)
We are looking for additional Welcomers to join the team.  If you are a Sunday Morning Service attendee, this is just up your street as would only involve you arriving at St Peter’s a little earlier to welcome attendees, hand out service booklets, collect them at service end and record and put any collection monies in the church’s safe; wholly non-onerous.

That having been said, we are also still looking for help supporting in particular the Christmas events as follows: 24 Dec 4pm Crib service and 11.30pm Midnight Mass; 25 Dec 10.30am Morning Service; 27 Dec 10.30am Morning Service.
