Winchcombe Parish is one of the Winchcombe Team of parishes, in the Diocese of Gloucester, part of the Church of England. Our main church, St Peter's, is an ancient foundation. We receive financial help with maintaining the building from the Friends of St Peter's. Until the Reformation, its ecclesiastical neighbour was Winchcombe Abbey. Winchcombe town has a website, and even its own (occasional) radio station. Just north of the town, in Greet, is the famous Winchcombe Pottery, as well as a railway station, on the newly reopened Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway.The annual Christian Arts Festival "Greenbelt" takes place just over the hill at Cheltenham Racecourse.
